  • Wizards re-sign Kamara

Kansas City, KA (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Wizards signed forward Kei Kamara to a multi-year deal, the Major League Soccer club announced late on Monday.

"We're very pleased to be able to re-sign Kei," Wizards Manager Peter Vermes said.

"He adds a different dimension to our attack that we hope to take advantage of." Kamara played in six games for Kansas City, scoring one goal after moving from Houston Dynamo near the end of last season.

"I feel good," Kamara said. "Everything's possible because of [Vermes]. I want to say thanks to him for bringing me back. I'm excited about the team and eager to get started on the 2010 season." Per team and league policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
