  • Langenbrunner, Devils get shootout win over Bruins

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Jamie Langenbrunner scored the shootout winner, as the New Jersey Devils claimed a 2-1 victory over the Boston Bruins at TD Garden.

Zach Parise scored New Jersey's lone goal in regulation and also added a goal in the shootout, as the Devils won their second straight game and improved to 10-2-1 on the road this season. New Jersey had won nine straight away from home to open the campaign before an 0-2-1 road trip last week.

Martin Brodeur made 32 saves for the Devils.

Blake Wheeler scored the lone goal for Boston, while Tuukka Rask turned aside 36 shots in defeat. The Bruins, coming off a 4-0-0 road trip, are 0-1-2 in their last three at home.
