• Avs activate D Liles, F Galiardi from IR

  
  

  Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Prior to Friday's game, the Colorado Avalanche activated defensemen John-Michael Liles and forward T.J. Galiardi from injured reserve.

  Liles had been out for five games because of a shoulder injury suffered on November 6. In 10 contests this year, he has two goals and three assists.

  Galiardi, a rookie, has six points in 13 games this season. He has missed nine contests with an ankle injury.

  To make room on the roster, the team reassigned forward Chris Dumo to the team's AHL affiliate and placed forward Matt Hendricks on injured reserve, retroactive to November 14, with a groin problem.
