  • Sharks re-sign Clowe

San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks re-signed forward Ryane Clowe to a one-year contract on Monday.

Clowe was limited to 15 games in 2007-08 after a knee injury suffered in late October kept him out of action until the tail-end of the regular season. He posted three goals and eight points with 22 penalty minutes.

The 25-year-old tied for the team lead in goals with five playoff tallies, addingnine points as the Sharks advanced to the Western Conference semifinals.

A sixth-round pick of San Jose in 2001, Clowe has registered 19 goals and 44 points over 91 games in three NHL seasons, all with the Sharks.
