Pebble Beach, with all of the celebrities and amateurs, hosts this week's PGA Tour stop. That venue will play host to the final round after three days on three courses. The Monetery Course was added back into the mix for 2010, replacing Poppy Hills Golf Course.
Bill Murray headlines the celebrity group as always. From there, it's a host of quarterbacks and television personalities with insanely long rounds mixed in.

Stricker, who led by five entering the day, carded a pair of birdies and a bogey to wrap up his third round. Twelve players completed their third rounds Sunday morning after play was suspended on Saturday by darkness.
The tournament had weather problems on Friday that delayed the end of the second round until Saturday. The forecast for the remainder of Sunday is good so action is expected to be completed as scheduled around 6:00 p.m. (et).

Jimenez netted three pars in the extra session and the last one was enough to topple Westwood, last year's Race to Dubai winner.
Jimenez and Westwood, two of four third-round co-leaders, headed to the par- four ninth at the Emirates Golf Club for the third playoff hole. Westwood had good looks at victory on both previous holes and Jimenez did his share of scrambling, but they were even on No. 9.

"I've won on a couple of other levels, but not this high a level." Herman, who had missed seven straight cuts dating to the end of last season, and Kirk both closed with two-under 70s to finish at 11-under-par 277.

PING created clubs over 20 years ago with such grooves and there was a lawsuit that long ago ruled these clubs were legal.
At the start of the 2010 season, all players had to switch to the now- conforming V grooves, but the PING clubs, specifically their wedges, and their square grooves were grand-fathered in and legal.

Herman's 62 easily established a new course record on the Open Course at Moonah Links. Ewan Porter had set the old mark of 66 in 2008.
The 62 was even more impressive when you look at how hard Moonah played in 2009. Last year, Moonah ranked as the fourth-hardest course on tour, playing to an average of 72.916 for the week. Just three holes, three of the four par- fives, had scoring averages under par last year.

Celebrated by golf fans for different reasons, Daly and Mickelson are connected in another way besides their undeniable popularity. Both players came to prominence in the years before Tiger Woods burst onto the scene and changed the game forever, pushing tournament purses higher than they had ever been and golf courses longer than we had ever seen.
