  • Falcons' Turner doubtful; Norwood a maybe

Flowery Branch, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Falcons will most likely be without the services of Michael Turner for Sunday's game against the New York Giants, as the running back is officially listed as doubtful after being unable to practice this week.

There is still no timetable for the return of Turner, who suffered a high right ankle sprain last Sunday.

However, the Falcons could get a boost to the backfield with the return of Norwood, who practiced for the first time in over a month this week -- albeit in a limited capacity. He's been battling a hip injury and the aftereffects of a concussion suffered earlier in the season and is listed as questionable.

Wide receiver Roddy White (knee) returned to practice in a limited role the past two days after sitting out Wednesday's session. The same scenario played out for safety Erik Coleman (knee), and both players are questionable.

Wideout Brian Finneran (knee) has been ruled out of the game.
