  Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - The Buffalo Bills made more moves at the quarterback position on Thursday, signing Brian Brohm from the practice squad of the Green Bay Packers and waiving Gibran Hamdan.

  After Dick Jauron was fired as head coach on Tuesday, interim coach Perry Fewell made a change at the starting quarterback position by naming Ryan Fitzpatrick as the starter for Sunday's game against Jacksonville in place of Trent Edwards.

  Brohm will now serve a the third-string signal-caller. He was actually the third quarterback for the Packers, but was relegated to the practice squad as the team elected to have only two QBs on its active roster.

  The former standout at Louisville was selected by Green Bay in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft and was inactive for all 16 games last season.

  Hamdan had been with the Bills as the third quarterback since the middle of the 2007 season.
