Toronto,ON (SportsNetwork) - Hamilton quarterback Kevin Glenn and Saskatchewan's defensive end Stevie Baggs, wide receiver/kick returner Jason Armstead, and wide receiver Andy Fantuz have been selected as the CFL's top players for the 16th week of the season.
Glenn picked up Offensive Player of the Week honors with a career-best performance in the Tiger-Cats' 41-38 loss to Montreal on Sunday.
Glenn completed 29-of-44 passes for 506 yards and three touchdowns. He became the first player to throw for more than 500 yards since Jason Maas threw for 540 yards in 2004 with the Edmonton Eskimos. Glenn's 506 passing yards ranks 27th on the CFL's all-time yardage list.
Baggs garnered Defensive Player of the Week accolades with seven tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble in the Roughriders' 44-44 tie with Calgary on Saturday. Baggs, who has 11 sacks on the season, is tied with BC's Ricky Foley for the league lead in that category.
Armstead received the Special Teams Player of the Week award for averaging 29 yards per return on five kick returns for 145 total yards versus the Stampeders. He also had four punt returns for a total of 25 yards.
Fantuz rounded out the weekly winners with Canadian Player of the Week honors.
