Winnipeg held a slim 20-17 advantage entering the fourth quarter but Bishop was picked off by Barron Miles on the Bombers' first series and BC took over on the Winnipeg 29. Two plays later Lulay hooked up with Harris for the 30- yard score for a 24-20 lead.
Alexis Serna missed a 59-yard field goal on the Bombers' next possession, leading to a single, but the Lions' defense clamped down on Bishop and co. to secure the victory. Winnipeg's final four turns with the ball resulted in a trio of three-and-outs and Bishop's third interception of the game.
The Bombers jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first 15 minutes. A 10-yard TD pass to Ralph capped the game's opening drive while Serna booted a pair of field goals and added a single for the two-score advantage.
The Lions got on the board by opening the second quarter with Dante Marsh's 18-yard interception return for a touchdown. A quick Winnipeg three-and-out sent BC back on the attack and Paul McCallum kicked a 13-yard field goal, then added a single and a field goal from 37 yards to tie the game at 14.
Serna came back with a 12-yard boot for the Bombers, but McCallum answered with a 47-yarder just before halftime to deadlock the contest at 17.
