  • BC Lions agree to terms with draft pick Lee

Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - The British Columbia Lions announced Monday that they have agreed to terms with first-round draft pick, running back Jamall Lee.

Lee, the third overall choice of the 2009 CFL Canadian Draft, was signed by the NFL's Carolina Panthers in April and appeared in all four preseason games before being released in August.

"I am very pleased to have Jamall joining us during this extremely important part of our season," said Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono. "He has the size, speed and skill to help us in a number of areas and I look forward to seeing him on the field as a Lion."
