Track & Field Events - Olympic Heptathlon
The Heptathlon is a two-day, women-only individual competition that combines 7 track and field events. Day 1 requires power, speed and jumping, and day 2 requires technique and endurance. Performance is judged on a points system and judges use a scoring table to assign point values to the performance. The winner is determined by a combined performance score in all events.
