Olympic Discus Throw
In the discus throw, the competitor stands in a marked circle, spins the body for momentum, and throws the discus into the marked landing zone area. Competitors receive a foul if they step out of the marked circle, and only the best throw out of a series of throws is recorded toward the results. The best distance wins, or in the case of a tie, the win goes to the first place competitor with the second best throw.
